There’s Got to be some meaning in this ‘coincidence’

Last night I wrote a blog about the meaning of a Grand Trine in your birth chart, and I said that Grand Trines point to some wonderful finished talent, but that you have to work hard to develop them otherwise they become a ruined crop even criminal, and that multiple Grand Trines in the birth chart are particularly dangerous. And I looked at having a Grand Trine in Earth signs, and how that has a danger of living in an unreal fantasy world of your own creation (see:http://wp.me/p179Ad-9t).
Fifteen minutes later, by some strange coincidence, I watched the BBC film on the horrific life of the Poet, Lord Byron – and was amazed to discover this morning that he has – yes: multiple Grand Trines in Air Signs (and also a T-square which I also blogged about last night)!!! I was left horrified at his life: father died when he was three, nurse abused him when he was nine, his life a horrifying run of multiple sexual relationships and scandals including incest with his sister, the only child he loved dying in infancy, his very decent wife defiled, so that in the end the only thing he felt he could trust in his life was his faithful dog to whom he erected a monument in Newstead Abbey his ancestral seat. And he died on 19th April 1824 aged 36, in a pointless grand gesture leading a ragtag of Greek Mercenaries in the horrifyingly brutal war the Greeks were waging to throw off the oppression of their Turkish oppressors. I felt the main value of sitting through so nightmare a film was salutary: to live one’s life not like that, to treat people well not as unreal figures drifting through the untamed torrents of one’s psychodramas. I wondered what might have been his best potential and his best spiritual pinnacle had he lived long enough to be healed, and had there been a decent spiritual path to achieve healing of such a destiny in England in those times. Below is his birth chart: 22.1.1788, 14.00, London (Source: Astrodatabank, which is a good source).

You can clearly see the multiple Grand Trines in Air which alerted me to a strange ‘coincidence’ running.

And here is his Vedic birth chart: Just one point, note that his Jupiter is now being transited by retrograde Venus which is one of the many planets being caught up in the four eclipses of 2012, including the upcoming Lunar Eclipse of 4th June 2012, where, again, the Greek state is in meltdown!!!!

Ladybirds for Kyle arrive at The Happiness Centre from the beach

 

A collection of the 200 love bugs on sale at the Happiness Centre

WE are very excited to announce The Happiness Centre has just taken delivery of 200 “love bugs” which will go on sale to raise money for a children’s hospice.

The brightly painted pebbles come in a variety of sizes, from tiny portable mementos, to large garden-dwellers or paperweights.

The pebbles have been painted in memory of 16-year old Kyle Rees from Bournemouth. Kyle’s story hit the national headlines in February after being fatally injured in a freak accident at school when he was hit with a cricket ball. Kyle’s mum, Tanya, is a close friend of Kimm’s daughter India, who has asked us to help in raising money in memory of her son.

Tanya collects the pebbles from the local beaches and hand paints each one into a lady bird. She has put many of the stones in her garden and calls them Kyle’s “rasta bugs”. She says that she can feel Kyle with her while she paints them and knows that he would be proud of how much money she has raised to help other young children. She said that she is overwhelmed by the response of people to the ladybirds and has already sold several hundred of them.

It is well-known that Kimm spends a lot of time on the beaches of Dorset collecting shells and heart-shaped stones from the beach, which many of you have been in receipt of. While Kimm has had many requests for more heart-stones, she has decided to bring back the love bugs instead. The pebbles are symbols of love and remembrance, and their brightness and colour is reflective of Kyle’s personality. Tanya hopes that the love bugs will bring a smile to people’s faces, just as Kyle did. She wants everyone to know about her “wonderful son” and wants to share the love that she will always have for him as well as reminding us all of how precious life is and how quickly it can be taken from us.

Tanya is donating all the money raised from the sale of the love bugs to Julia’s House, which is a hospice dedicated to caring for around 100 children (and their families) with life-limiting conditions.

Profits and funds raised by the Happiness Centre are spread throughout the world via Kimm’s Helping Hand Fund. Recipients include the on-going support and education of deprived children in Peru to sponsoring orphans in Nepal through the MySmallHelp charity to tennis lessons for a young local boy with cerebral palsy to the purchasing of a horse called Denzel for a disabled riding-group.

The love bugs are on sale from the Happiness Centre from £1 and Kimm is also asking for people to take more to sell to friends and family to help raise more funds and support Tanya who is using this project to help her through the tragedy of losing her son.

The Healing Power of Sufi Chanting – Read this fascinating Blog from Irshad

Chanting Sounds and its Healing Powers.  

The healing power of chanting is a critical issue which hasn’t been given enough study or research, so I, through my teacher, went about starting this journey and I asked to be guided, and given useful knowledge, and shown the right, and helped to do it, and shown the wrong and helped to avoid it.
One of the most important fruits of this research, which continued for years, was that I came out with an important result: The divine has put in every verse of the Koran a healing power for a certain disease if this verse was recited for a specific number of times.

In the beginning
When we contemplate the universe around us, we notice that every single atom is vibrating in a specific frequency, whether this atom is part of metal, water, cell, or anything else. So everything in this universe is vibrating, this is a given scientific fact.

The basic structure of the universe is the atom, and the basic structure of our bodies is the cell; each cell is made of billions of atoms and each atom is made of a positive nucleus and negative electrons rotating around it. Because of this rotation, an electromagnetic field is generated similar to fields generated by an engine.
Experiments show that inside each cell in the brain there is a tiny computer which the Creator deposited an accurate program that directs the cell and controls its work. They also show that the sound affects the cell.

We can say that the cells of each body part vibrate in a specific frequency, and form a complicated and coordinated system that is affected by any sound around it. So, the important thing is that any disease affecting any part of the body will cause a change in the vibration of this part’s cells and thus causing it to deviate from the general body system affecting the whole body.

This is why, when the body is exposed to a specific sound, this sound influences the vibration system of body and especially the irregular part; this part will respond to specific sounds to restore its original vibration system or, in other words, to restore its healthy condition. Scientists discovered these results recently. What is the story of this science? Chanting Sounds and its Healing Powers.

Sound and chanting therapy

Alfred Tomatis, a French doctor, made experiments for fifty years about the human senses and came out with the result that the hearing sense is the most important sense!! He found that the ear controls the whole body, regulates its vital operations and the balance and coordination of its movements; he also found that the ear controls the nervous system!
During his experiments, he found that the hearing nerves connect with all body muscles and this is the reason why the balance and flexibility of the body and the sight sense get affected by sounds. The inner ear is connected with all the body parts such as the heart, lungs, liver, stomach, and the intestines; this explains why sound and chanting frequencies affect the whole body.
Viruses and germs also vibrate and are highly affected by sound vibrations especially though Chanting sounds; it stops them and at the same time increases the activity of the healthy cells and revives the disrupted program inside so to become ready to fight viruses and germs.

Sufi chanting

Sufi chanting is made of sounds that are groups of frequencies that reach the ear then move to the brain cells and affect them through the electronic fields these frequencies generate in these cells; the cells will respond to these fields and modify their vibrations, this change in the vibration is what we feel and understand after experience of the repetition of the chanting.

It is the natural system that our Creator gave to the brain cells; it is the natural balance system for the physical and spiritual wellbeing. Given the right chants or sound waves at the point or place where it most effective, one will most surely feel a new stature of self and inner strength and peace, or a great relief of sorrow and tension from the physical body, making us understand more about our self, and our inner self, even more. Thus we become whole, resonating to the whole and healthy frequency of being.

Crystal of the month of May – Snowflake Obsidian

The month of May symbolises re-growth and shedding of the old and bringing in of the new. The dark and dismal days of winter are finally starting to fade into the distant past and the light and airiness of spring is starting to show itself to us once again.

For this reason Snowflake Obsidian has been chosen as our favourite crystal of the month.
